The Pre 2003 La Tradicion Reserve from Perdomo is where the Legend Began!
This is the cigar that launched Perdomo’s revered Reserve Line. The brand has been extended twice, with pleasing new cigars introduced to high acclaim and block-buster sales. But many devotees still consider the originals to be the finest crafted stogies graced with a Reserve label. These beauties were hand crafted with small batch excellence in limited quantities, making them a rare find. If you enjoy the new Reserves, then you owe it to yourself to taste the progenitor of the blood line. If you are considering the Reserve line, then it makes sense to start at the beginning.
Like all Nicaraguan Perdomo’s these cigars are finely constructed of the choicest tobaccos, born of Cuban seed, and ripened to perfection in the rich soils of Esteli, Jalapa, and Condega. Patiently aged, and blended to produce sumptuous aromas and flavors, the tobaccos were then dressed in Nicaraguan binder and two first-rate wrappers. The Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper completes a puro that plays Cuban nightclub music from the glory days of Havana.
A medium-bodied cigar with the signature Cuban flavors of soft leather and roasted nuts, with a mild pepper finish is the result. The alternative is a saucy Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper, bursting with mouth-watering, spicy complexity that gets one’s attention, without overpowering the senses. This is a full-bodied treat that goes well with something cold and wet. This renowned line is available in nine vitolas. Try them and discover why the Reserve line has enthusiastic followers wherever world class cigars are enjoyed! |
