La Aurora is one of those legendary cigar companies that defined the cigar as we know and love it. It is the first cigar from the brand in 10 years that uses a Camaroon wrapper. Overwhelming demand made the Camaroon leaf scarce and the company was forced to switch to a Connecticut wrapper. A decade later, this rare wrapper returns with style in this commemorative cigar. And to add flavor and complexity, the tobacco is aged for an additional 3 years.
The Leon Jimenes 2001 is a solid medium body cigar sporting a full flavor with heavy tones of caramel. The flavor is consistent and will grow into a very wood and earth smoke. Popping in from time to time is a mixture of sweet and power flavors such as vanilla, leather, and spice.
