La Flor Dominicana cigars are known by enthusiasts for their powerful smoke and rich flavors. The texture as well as the scent is enough to create instant fans of this brand, which has gained widespread popularity. The most talked about of La Flor Dominicana cigars is the Ligero Series, which is so named for the strain of leaf used. This “ligero” leaf is both spicy and powerful, which gives this cigar a very strong kick.
Within the Ligero Series there are three styles to choose from. The first is the original papa Ligero, which is contained in an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The Cabinet style is much the same, but switches things up with a dark Oscuro natural wrapper leaf, adding to its smooth quality. Finally there is the Double Ligero, which comes in a dark Ecuadorian leaf and Dominican ligero fillers kept together with a binder. All of these cigars are powerful and exciting. A few other strong creations from La Flor Dominicana are the Coronado and the Salamones cigars. Both of these strong, full-bodied cigars are high-class and highly sought after. The Coronado is made with a Nicaraguan sun-grown wrapper and has a variety of dynamic flavors. The Salamones is one of the more expensive cigars in the line, and therefore is meant to be fully enjoyed. This cigar is quite large in size and in flavor. It has a powerful kick and may not be the best choice for a first-time cigar smoker, but the regular will enjoy this fantastic brand. |
