The Graycliff cigar company is known worldwide for making wonderful, handcrafted cigars in the natural tropical setting of the beautiful Graycliff resort. The cigars were originally envisioned by Garzaroli, of the Graycliff resort, who wanted to create a cigar that would go well with the fine wine and wonderful food that his own restaurants were already known for, worldwide. To do this he hired one of the best cigar aficionados in the world, Avelino Lara, who was willing to design and start to craft the Graycliffs, which were done in only limited production, but today, have been expanded to include an entire line.
Today, the cigars are a very fine line. They are well known for having a very earthy and rustic smell and appearance, which many describe as similar in nature to the scent of either leather or coffee. They are frequently described as being very restful to smoke, an enjoyable experience, say many. They are unique for the company''s suggestion that they be allowed to breathe prior to starting the smoke, by taking them out of the cellophane and letting them sit for a while. This is a cigar that no real aficionado should allow themselves to miss. |
