The Graycliff 1666 is the only graycliff cigar made outside of the Bahamas. It was created to honor the original structure built at the Nassau fort, which became the Graycliff restaurant and resort, and to commemorate the beginning of the cigar brand. The resorts original owner Enrico Garzaroli was searching for the best line of cigars to compliment the food and wine served at his five star restaurant. Unsatisfied with what was available, he brought in one of the top tobacco rollers to create the perfect line of cigars. Today graycliff has one of the smallest cigar factories, but it produces some of the top rated cigars in the world.
Graycliff 1666 uses and dark Jaltepec maduro wrapper, and uses fillers from Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, and Peru. This mix of exotic tobaccos provides a unique and constantly changing bouquet of flavors ranging from deep and smooth to earthy, nutty, and spicy sweet. The cigar is medium bodied, with rich and mouthwatering aroma''''s that bespeak the many tobaccos that are used in the cigar. Graycliff offers the best in exotic cigars, and the Graycliff 1666 follows the tradition of being an exceptional smoke that is sure to please. |
