Cohiba Black |

Cohiba is a name you know if you know your cigars, hailed by many as the best. The brand launched in Cuba at the same time Fidel Castro rose to power and has been often rumored to be his favorite blend, possibly even the reason for the brand itself. Today Castro has since gone, but the legendary brand is still going strong.
The Cohiba Black is the darker side of the brand. Wrapped in an almost black Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro and filled with the highest quality leaves from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Mexico. The whole package is the finished and bound by an enticing sun grown Dominican Piloto leaf aged in tercio for more than three years. Both inside and out, the Cohiba Black looks, feels, and smokes like a dream.
This blend is noted for a fuller-bodied smoke compared to its elder brother the Dominican Cohiba. And even before you cut into this cigar, the thick wrapper fills the air with a compelling aroma of minty chocolate with a trace of pepper. Throughout the burn, you’ll be treated to a rich texture of dark chocolate, coffee, and the occasional sweet sensation. Towards the end, the waft of coffee will morph into a pleasant espresso. This smooth concoction is perfect for a late afternoon with company.
The intriguingly complex blend took more than six years to cultivate, personally crafted by the General Cigar President, Master Blender Daniel Nunez. His esteemed reputation for creating some of the world’s finest cigars has been affirmed once again with this timeless blend. For the best look no further than the Cohiba Black. |
