Founded by Alan Rubin in 1996 and named after his two sons, the Alec Bradley Cigar Company has already produced some prestigious cigars. The Alec Bradley Tempus Centuria line, for example, came in at number two on Cigar Insider’s list of “Best Cigars of the Year” in 2008. Made at the Raices Cubanas factory in Honduras, this line is already getting some well-deserved attention. It was once “Cigar of the Week” in Cigar Aficionado.

In addition to the Tempus, there is the Maxx for people who want very big cigars. It’s easy to over indulge with cigars called, “The Fix” or “The Freak”. The Maxx Traditional caters to those who like the flavors of the cigars in this line but in smaller, more traditional sizes. The Trilogy line has three very different wrappers and thus very distinct flavors. The Spirit of Cuba is a Cuban Sandwich style cigar which means that long leaf tobacco leaves are wrapped around a middle leaf that runs the full length of the cigar. This means that it burns longer. The Occidental Reserve is a very economical line perfect for the every day smoker. The Special Blends line is a product of Hendrik Kelner, one of the most prestigious cigar makers in the world.
